About Me.
I use paint to upcycle glass & ceramics that I find at thrift stores, online auctions, yard sales, etc. I had tried the maker's markets styles of retails store but I am now focused on community craft sales and custom work.
Festive works.
Some of my favorite works to create are these ornaments made from unwanted glass tiles. I like to experiment with unconventional colors and patterns. No two are the same.
Where it started
During the pandemic, I was looking for an artistic outlet that would allow me to upcycle, rather than creating more waste. I began by painting thrifted wine glasses and creating candles in discarded yogurt jars.Note: All candles are made from soy wax.
A variety of techniques.
I create using dipping, dotting, and brush stroke painting techniques.
Usable, practical art.
All of the pieces are meant to be used. They are either heat treated or given coats of sealer to ensure a long life.
Many of these pieces are still available.If you prefer a custom made piece, I am happy to work with you.
